Terms & Conditions of the AZALEA BEAUTY ACADEMY Professional Agreement

1. Participation in practical classes:

a) The student agrees to participate in practical classes according to the established schedule and training plan.

b) The student is responsible for timely and regular attendance in practical classes.

2. Maintaining hygiene protocols and sterile conditions:

a) The student is required to adhere to all hygiene protocols and sterile conditions that apply in the training academy.

b) The student must maintain cleanliness and ensure sterile conditions while performing practical training with clients.

3. Personal appearance:

a) The student must have clean and pressed uniforms, which are required in the training academy.

b) The student must maintain short and neat nails and tie back their hair to avoid any hygiene or safety risks.

c) The student should not wear any jewellery during practical classes.

4. Interacting with clients:

a) The student is obligated to treat clients professionally and courteously while performing practical training.

b) The student must adhere to ethical principles and maintain client confidentiality.

5. Safety:

a) The student is responsible for their own safety and the safety of the client while performing practical training.

b) The student must follow all safety recommendations provided by instructors and staff of the training academy.

6. Financial settlement:

a) The student commits to timely payment of training fees with any final balance / full course payment paid one week before the last practical class or before undertaking the exam.

7. Final Certificates:

a) On achieving a pass grade on your chosen course, completing the homework assignments and paying any final balance of course fees (as point 6), you will be presented in person with a signed certificate at the Academy. Arrangements to post / courier the Certificate can be made (at the student's expense) but we do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage. 

8. Resignation and cancellation:

a) If the student chooses to withdraw from the training course, the full course fees are non-refundable.

b) The training academy reserves the right to postpone or cancel practical classes in case of unforeseen circumstances or insufficient number of participants.

9. Student Guide

With the increasing demands of the professional examining bodies, whether ITEC or VTCT, we have prepared a simple student guide to ensure that you are fully prepared for your chosen course, receive the best personal tuition and achieve the very best results. 

Uniform Code

- Hair: Tied in a bun at the bottom

- Nails: Short and without polish

- Shoes: Flat casual shoes

- Uniform: Full tunic and trousers ( you may change out of your travelling clothes at the clinic)

Preparedness for Theory:
Familiarity with consultation, vocabulary, procedure, aftercare and prevention of contraindications and restrictions

Homework, Tests & Exam
All homework submission required before the start of practical classes & exam

Document Format: All work to be submitted in Word document format

Late homework submission: as above- you cannot take the exam until all homework is submitted. The exam will have to be re-scheduled outside the planned course structure at additional student expense

Theory Tests: Are conducted on the last practical class

Laptop: please bring your own to the classes

Consultation Forms: Prepare multiple forms in Word document for the classes

Retake or Postponed Exam: Minimum 6 weeks later at additional student expense

Zoom
Zoom Calls are an integral part of the virtual classroom – with mandatory camera on setting

Zoom Recording is required as evidence for ITEC / VTCT examining bodies.

Absence from Zoom calls will be considered during the final exam assessment and could impact on the result.

Course Payment:
The student commits to timely payment of training fees with any final balance / full course payment paid one week before the last practical class or before undertaking the exam.

Skin Needling Level 4:
Please bring your own electric pen and cartridges

Azalea Academy’s  Responsibility:
The Academy nor its Staff accept no liability for a student’s lack of preparation in the theoretical part of the exam nor for the final exam result.

10. Obligations:

a) The student is responsible for their learning progress and understanding of the training materials.

b) Azalea Beauty Academy is not liable should the student fail the exam.

c) Signing this agreement signifies that the student accepts and agrees to the above conditions.

d) Both parties are obligated to comply with and fulfil the provisions stated in this agreement.
